Laprisha Daniels

Laprisha Daniels is the Executive Director for Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice. At DWEJ, Laprisha sets the strategic direction, and establishes and maintains strategic partnerships. She is responsible for disrupting and dismantling the status quo that leads to Detroiters bearing the undue burden of environmental hazards that ultimately impact their quality of life. She has over 15 years of experience as an MPH, MSW (Public Health Social Worker). She works to co-develop, implement and evaluate efforts focused on strategies to eliminate environmental health disparities in Detroit.
