Erin Stanley
Steering Committee MemberErin Stanley (she/her) has worked in the nonprofit and social work field for over 15 years, gaining experience in case management, community outreach and engagement, and policy advocacy.
Currently, she is the Director of Climate Equity at Eastside Community Network. As a born and raised eastsider, Erin is proud to serve her community to advance social and environmental justice as well as promote community-driven solutions and collective well-being. At ECN, Erin works with her team to build community power and collective voice; strengthen the impact of resident leaders; and pilot climate solutions that build more just and resilient communities. Outside of work, Erin is also a PhD candidate in Social Work and Anthropology at Wayne State University studying how Detroiters are navigating their relationship to place amidst systemic dispossession and is a dedicated property tax justice/housing activist. Erin is passionate about Detroit, water/nature, and her dogs.
